This is the gold brass bell specification of the YSL-882V. It is a model that combines the deep resonance unique to gold brass bells.

The heavy bell, made with exclusive Xeno materials, is a one-piece hand-hammered bell with a joined construction. Yamaha's unique V-valve and dedicated F-attachment tubing layout significantly reduce resistance changes when using the F-attachment. The bore size and shape within the valve have also been carefully considered, providing appropriate resistance across the entire range. This is an advanced model that fully meets the high demands and sensitive musicality of professionals.

This was Yamaha's flagship model, released in 2002 and discontinued in 2020.
The serial number is in the 360,000 range, suggesting it was produced relatively early in its production run.

I did not experience any issues with low pitch or valve operation, which were noted problems specific to this model, during my playing.

Included is a custom-ordered gold brass main tuning slide made specifically for this model (shown set on the instrument in the photo; the original yellow brass slide is also included and shown separately). I purchased this as an additional item after hearing of the model's discontinuation in 2020 and have been using it.

While this is my subjective opinion, I do not see any major dents overall. There are minor scratches, but I believe it is in relatively clean condition. As this model is no longer in production, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find examples in good condition. Perhaps it would be suitable for a collection?
The slide and valves move smoothly. Please examine the photos for condition before purchasing.
