Description
This is a briefcase created by Shiseido in collaboration with Kenzo in the past (around the 70s-80s?). It's a rare item, considered an antique.
This is from the era of Kenzo Takada, not the recent years when NIGO is directing Kenzo Paris. I believe it's a very archival piece.
The texture of the fabric, resembling kasuri, and the color scheme create stripes that look like Ivy-style regimental stripes, showcasing skillful design.
The loops for the toggles and the edges of the bag are reinforced with genuine leather, and the fasteners are carved from wood. Vinyl is applied to the back to prevent shape distortion.
Apart from a small white stain on the front flap, there are no noticeable stains, damage, or deterioration of the leather or vinyl, making it a very beautiful item.
The original paper flasher from that time is also included.
